M.A.R.T.E (Manhattan Artisan Retail & Trade Emporium)

M.A.R.T.E (Manhattan Artisan Retail & Trade Emporium), a weekly upscale flea market that takes place at and benefits public schools throughout Manhattan, today announced the launch of its first weekly market -- MARTE on W. 97th-- on the Upper West Side at P.S. 163. MARTE on W. 97th will kick off on Saturday, September 25th at P.S. 163 at 163 W.97th Street between Columbus and Amsterdam Avenues. The family-themed event, named ’Family MARTE, will feature entertainment and giveaways including a kids concert, Freckleface Strawberry, a ballerina party and ballet lessons from Twinkle Party, book readings, food decorating booths, and much more! Over 80 local vendors, artists and food purveyors will participate in the opening day market offering a wide variety of unique and fashionable artisan goods and crafts, artwork and antique and new jewelry. ’Family MARTE’ will take place from 11 am to 5 pm and is free to the public.
