Evening Will Feature Free Live Music from BEAR HANDS, BRAHMS and SAVOIR ADORE, a Red Carpet Experience for Visitors and Exclusive Late-Night Shopping Deals from Participating Retailers
Rockefeller Center (www.rockefellercenter.com) will be transformed into a massive red carpet experience where visitors and shoppers will be made to feel like celebrities for the second annual Fashion’s Night Out on Friday, September 10, 2010, from 6:00PM to 11:00PM, at Rockefeller Center, between 49th and 50th Streets and 5th and 6th Avenues, Manhattan. The experience will feature red carpets lining the Channel Gardens, a live fashion presentation with models wearing clothing and accessories from the Center’s retailers, a Fashion’s Night Out step & repeat backdrop where visitors can pose for photos, and a Lucite stage for live music in front of the Prometheus statue overlooking The Rink Bar. The event is free and open to the public.
The evening will feature free musical performances by Brooklyn-based bands BEAR HANDS, BRAHMS and SAVOIR ADORE. Visitors can also take advantage of the various deals at participating retailers throughout Rockefeller Center as part of Fashion’s Night Out.
