Description
Price $59. Limited to 12 students Jonathan Rubenstein knows good coffee! And he is a master at opening coffee shops. In fact, he has six of them, each of which is obsessively committed to producing a great cup of joe. At Joe, the coffee is the priority: beans from a boutique supplier, top-of-the-line espresso machines, and rigorously trained baristi, some of whom have worked at Seattle’s best coffee shops and pour beautiful latte art, a rare skill. He also consults New York restaurants on their coffee service and regularly gives lectures and does radio and tv shows on coffee and espresso. During this workshop, Jonathan will share the ins and outs of starting a coffee shop. He will discuss the importance of location, the economics of running the store, how to hire rockstar staff and, most importantly, how to create a customer experience that keeps them coming back for more.
