LSA Family Health Service’s 2011 Spring Gala: Making the Mission Live: The Power of Mutual Relationships will be held on Friday, April 8, 2011 at the Mandarin Oriental at Columbus Circle. Our honoree will be James P. Pellow, Ed.D., Executive Vice President & Chief Operating Officer of St. John’s University, and Hugh Hildesley of Sotheby’s will return again as live auctioneer. Paula G. McInerney resides as gala co-chairperson and LSA board member, along with fellow co-chair and St. John’s University Board Chairperson, Thomas E. McInerey. This will be a wonderful opportunity to help raise funds for this model organization by celebrating the mission that provides an enduring foundation for LSA’s work, and by honoring the effective and committed partnership that St. John’s has developed with LSA. LSA is one of the most trusted poverty-fighting organizations in New York City. They offer a broad range of health care, social services, education, advocacy and crisis counseling to thousands of the most marginalized people in East Harlem.
