A Special Musical Evening with the Arab-Jewish Ensemble of the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra (IPO.) Dr. William Haseltine and the American Friends of the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra invite you to a special musical evening featuring The Arab-Jewish Ensemble of the IPO. Performance followed by a cocktail reception. Performing middle-eastern music, classical music, and original compositions, the Arab-Jewish Ensemble is a unique group bringing together extraordinary musicians of the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra with the finest musicians from the Arab community. The ensemble's onstage collaboration, music and musicianship create a multi-cultural environment that reflects their belief that the language of music has the ability to build bridges between people of all cultures. These dynamic musicians have performed over ten years of concerts and programming in Israel showing the importance of cooperation and cultural understanding.
