Tonight only the tasting & tour with Jane Ziegelman of Brooklyn Brewery
In the 1800s, saloons offered a ’free lunch’ with the purchase of a beer. The author of 97 Orchard Street with the help of The Brooklyn Brewery, attempt to recreate the food of that experience. Join Orwasher’s Bakery, Acme Smoked Fish, Almond Restaurant, Cornell Oysters of Hog Neck Bay Southold NY, Prime Meats, Lucy’s Whey and Brooklyn Brine for tasty treats inspired by what fed the patrons at historic Gotham saloons. Tickets include a building tour & discussion.
