Citi Pond at Bryant Park launched its inaugural Winter Film Festival earlier this month, a series inviting guests to bundle-up and cuddle-up at Manhattan’s first outdoor movie event showcasing winter-inspired movies, free-to-the-public, each Monday at 6:30 p.m through Feb. 14, ’snow or shine.’
The week’s showing is the movie ’Blades of Glory’ at 6:30 p.m.
The movies will be shown on a 900-square-foot screen located near the 6th Avenue entrance to the Citi Pond ice rink (Sixth Avenue and 41st St. by the Bryant Park Fountain), allowing the movie to be viewed by Citi Pond ice skaters, Celsius dinner guests and guests surrounding the rink and on the upper terrace of Citi Pond by the Bryant Park monument.
Viewers are encouraged to snuggle in and bring blankets and sleeping bags and will also enjoy hot beverages and warm comfort treats provided by Celsius via servers throughout the shows as well as Coca Cola samplings.
