On Wednesday, January 19, 2011, the Books for Kids Junior Board will host the first annual ’Winter Event’ at Onieals. Books for Kids creates libraries, donates books, and partners with literacy programs to develop the critical early foundation and skills which young children need to be successful in life. The BFK Foundation focuses on promoting literacy among all children with a special emphasis on low-income and at-risk preschool-aged children.
Proceeds from the evening will fund the foundation’s library building efforts for its 25th Anniversary campaign.
