Please join us for All Jacked Up 2011, a benefit for the Histiocytosis Association of America (HAA) in honor of Jack "The Rock" Rubin. This event will be once again hosted at Marquee, a premiere NYC nightspot. This year we are also going to be donating to the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) and an organization called Sara's Smiles.
Activities will include an open bar, hors d’oeuvres, a DJ, 50/50, and some great raffle and silent auction prizes, including:

LCH affects just 1 in 200,000 children born in the U.S. each year, designating is an "orphan" disease and making it too small to receive government funding. Your contributions and attendance really help!
Jack was diagnosed with Langerhans Cell Histiocytosis (LCH) at two months old. As a result of his condition, Jack and his mother, Kristy, took up residency at CHOP for 19 months while his father (Chad) would visit at every available opportunity. Since his stay in the hospital, Jack, now almost 3 years old, has undergone many major procedures and treatments including; multiple chemotherapy regiments, removal of his spleen, respiratory failure resulting in intubation, a tracheotomy, TWO bone marrow transplants and a litany of other surgeries and medical interventions. Jack has also had to deal with multiple hospital acquired infections causing bacteremia and sepsis. Needless to say, Jack has generated quite the reputation of not only being a ROCKstar - due to his resilience and strength - but an inspiration to all touched by his journey. Today he grows by leaps and bounds and shows off his scars to anybody willing to look. He is a proud big brother to his sister, Alexandra, now almost 4 months old.
