Children of the City Gala Dinner

Since 1981, Children of the City has been serving the underprivileged children in Sunset Park, Brooklyn. Starting out as a children’s prevention outreach in the early years, services have evolved to include educational support, counseling and mentorship, financial and career guidance, legal guardianship, social and life skills training, and much more. Over one thousand children are visited every single month. Services are provided to hundreds on a daily and weekly basis and additional referrals are made to connect the children and their families with partnering agencies, all with the goal to help them break the cycles of poverty and abuse.
