Firefighter Appreciation Weekend

The Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum will salute the contributions of firefighters with a weekend of special events and demonstrations on Saturday, July 16th & Sunday, July 17th at the Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum, located at 46th Street and 12th Avenue in Manahattan. Throughout the weekend, visitors can watch firefighter demonstrations including rescue company rope slides, vehicle extrication, and ladder bucket rescue, as well as ambulance, squad truck and tower ladder vehicle displays. All activities are free with admission to the Museum. Firefighters and paramedics with proper identification will receive free admission to the Museum. Guests of firefighters and paramedics (up to 2 guests per rescue worker) will receive a 50% discount off of regular Museum admission.
