Description 
The Frick Collections summer party made its debut in 2008 and was quickly hailed by The New York Times as one of the most memorable social events of the year. Now annual, this benefit reception celebrates the season with cocktails and jazz. This years focal points will be the 70th Street Garden, designed by the legendary landscape architect Russell Page, and the dazzling interior Garden Court, create in 1935 by John Russell Pope. Guests may also enjoy the permanent collection galleries (which feature masterpieces by Vermeer, Rembrandt, Fragonard, Holbein, Houdon, Goya, Gainsborough, Velázquez, Renoir, and others, as well as the museums seasonal exhibitions, "In a New Light: Bellinis St. Francis in the Desert" and "Turkish Taste at the Court of Marie-Antoinette." Proceeds will support the full range of programs at The Frick Collection, including educational and curatorial initiatives and Library activities.
