lebrate Brooklyn! at the Prospect Park Bandshell is just days away! Kicking off the season will be a free concert with Andrew Bird, as well as the annual Opening Night Gala, on Friday, June 10. This year's gala will honor life-long Brooklynite Ray Levin! Additionally, jetBlue, New York’s hometown airline, will also be recognized for its commitment to New York City and the Festival. We are expecting some special guests, including Adrian Benepe, NYC Parks Commissioner; Joe Chan, President, Downtown Brooklyn Partnership; Alexis Bittar, jewelry designer; Stacy London, fashion expert; Marty Markowitz, Brooklyn Borough President; Adam Max, Vice Chairman, BAM Board of Directors; Kathryn Wylde, President & CEO of Partnership for New York City; and Dan Zanes, musician. Dinner is a 5:30 and Andrew Bird concert is at 8:15. The after party starts at 10 pm.
