| Description |
Cellist Inbal Segev, described as "first class … richly inspired" by Gramophone, will perform music for solo cello by J. S. Bach, plus Kodály's powerful Sonata for Cello. Segev will be joined by composer/pianist Fernando Otero, recent Latin Grammy Award winner for his album Vital (World Village), to perform his original classical and Tango-inspired music in new arrangements for piano and cello. The two have an ongoing musical friendship - Segev is the solo cellist on Vital and Otero's earlier album Pagina de Buenos Aires (Nonesuch), and Otero is currently at work on a new concerto for her.
