Making Books Sing at...Brooklyn Brewery with Cat Greenleaf & Talib Kweli

Join Making Books Sing for: A Summer Night to Support Arts Education! Hosted by Emmy award-winner Cat Greenleaf & hip-hop artist and activist Talib Kweli! Brooklyn Brewery will open their cool Williamsburg venue to host our fundraiser that will include: private tours of the brewery, light appetizers and, of course, beer. The evening will help Making Books Sing continue to provide New York tri-state area family and school audiences with literacy-rich musical theatre and visual arts. Each year, MBS reaches more than 5,000 K-8th grade students and their families with in-school/after-school residencies and family programs at schools, shelters and cultural venues. Guests may pre-purchase tickets or RSVP to pay at the door.
