Held at the recently opened Tacombi, this event will feature the pairing of artist Maya Hayuk and the restaurant's executive chef, Aaron Sanchez. Ms. Hayuk will be creating table settings, an installation and soundtrack with the expertise of Prop Stylist and fellow dinner-party enthusiast, Alethia Weingarten. 40 hand-painted, one of a kind dinner plates will be created at Baked in Brooklyn, a commercial community ceramics studio in Williamsburg. These plates will be offered to guests at an additional cost included in the VIP price for this event.

At 7pm, the night will begin with an organic cocktail class led by mixologist Jan Warren of Dutch Kills and sponsored by Kanon Vodka. This will be followed by a dinner, Tacombi style, at 8pm. Milkmade Icecream will be providing delightful flavors, a collaboration between Hayuk and the Milkmade team. Following dinner, Anonymous Gallery will host its Armory Arts Week reception from 10pm - 12am. All dinner guests will be invited to stay for the reception.
The co-star of Food Network’s exciting new series, Chefs vs. City, Aarón Sanchez is the owner and executive chef of restaurant Centrico, located in New York City, as well as the culinary force behind Tacombi. The son of celebrated Mexican cooking authority Zarela Martinez, Aarón’s passion, commitment and skills have placed him among the country’s leading contemporary Latin Chefs.
