After celebrating the art of Street Style photography over the past few months, W Times Square is now leading the way in celebrating another unique form of art: fashion illustration. Beginning this month, the three-month long series - curated by FIT Associate Professor of Illustration Karen Santry - will celebrate the works of both students and professors.The first exhibit in the series, Masters: Fashion Illustrations by the Professors at FIT will debuton Tuesday, March 15 with a private party in The Living Room of W Times Square.Complimentary cocktails will be served and DJ TK will perform. Works by Professors Santry,Steven Stipelman, Barbara Henlon and Joe Denaro will be on display. The images will remain ondisplay and open to the public through mid-April.In April and May, W Times Square will showcase additional work by FIT professors as well as pieces by the rising stars of the illustration world: FIT students.
