The 2011 Tony Award Showcase will include historic Tony memorabilia from the past 65 years including costumes on loan from Theatre Development Fund's Costume Collection, an official Tony Awards certificate, Tony Playbills, gala invites, Tony Awards and much more. The exhibit will also feature video footage from current Tony nominated Plays and Musicals as well as interviews with the 2011 Tony Nominees.
The Tony Award Documentary Films Series will feature three films that examine what it’s like to be behind-the-scenes on a Tony-eligible Broadway musical. Each screening, which will begin at 6:30 PM, will be followed by a panel discussion with producers, casting directors and talent. (Panelists subject to change) The Film Series is free to the public, and tickets are available through TonyFilmSeries@broadway.org.
