Literacy Partners 27th Annual “Evening of Readings” Gala

Gala Chairs Liz Smith, Arnold Scaasi, Parker Ladd and Jacqueline Weld Drake will welcome more guests to Lincoln Center for Literacy Partners 27th annual ’Evening of Readings’ Gala to raise critical funds for Literacy Partners. This year’s Gala honorees are bestselling author Louise Riggio and her husband Leonard Riggio, and Barnes & Noble, Inc for their philanthropy and longtime support of Literacy Partners. The evening begins with a cocktail reception at 6:30 pm, followed by a program featuring readings from authors Michael Connelly, Katie Couric, Whoopi Goldberg, and Stacy Schiff. Joining these acclaimed authors on stage will be our adult literacy students who will share their own inspiring essays about their experiences learning to read as adults. Dinner and dancing complete the evening.
