ARTWALK NY, the prestigious art auction benefiting Coalition for the Homeless, is pleased to announce its 17th annual event honoring Shepard Fairey on November 15th at Skylight Studios located at 275 Hudson Street. Chaired by Alec Baldwin, Carey Lowell and Richard Gere, with supermodel Coco Rocha acting as honorary host,
the evening is generously sponsored by FENDI. In collaboration with The Robert Rauschenberg Foundation’s ’Artist as Activist’ program, Shepard Fairey has created 100 limited edition signed prints that will be made available for sale through Artnet Auctions. Shepard Fairey has also donated a painting for sale at ARTWALK’s live auction portion of the evening. All proceeds from both sales will benefit Coalition for the Homeless. The live auction will also include works generously donated by artists including Christo, Wade Guyton, Jenny Holzer, Kim McCarty, Yoko Ono, Ed Ruscha and Manolo Valdes.
