Gala: A Tribute to Hollywood's Golden Era

Step back into the glamorous "golden era" of 1920's and 30's Hollywood at St. Ann Gothic Cathedral (lined with vintage Cars of the 1930's) in the heart of Art Deco Brooklyn Heights. Featuring Aaron Johnson and his Golden Age Orchestra, an 11 piece group playing all of the charming music of the era, for your dancing pleasure (and featuring stars such as stride pianist Terry Waldo and songbird Kate Davis!) Decadent cocktails and mixologists provided and sponsored by CayRum, also featuring a selection of wines by local Brooklyn Winery Oenology! Dance numbers under the direction of legendary period dancer/choreographer Roddy Caravella with additional music provided by Jerron "Blindboy" Paxton and stride pianist Anthony Wright. Your host and master of ceremonies for the evening is leading voice actor and singer, Matthew Piazzi whose voice and charm seem transported right from the silver screen! Come dance the evening away on our authentic wooden dance floor and enjoy gourmet Hors D'oeuvre for sale by Chef Fern Vernon. Doors open at 7pm and ends at Midnight.
