M83 mastermind Anthony Gonzalez moved from his native France to Los Angeles to make his new album, and like a big-budget Hollywood blockbuster, Hurry Up, We’re Dreaming reflects the creative atmosphere of his new home: It’s an expansive double-disc electro-pop effort defined by sweeping widescreen melodies and lush effects-house detail.
