Performa is delighted to present Opening Night of Performa 11, a spectacular benefit event taking place on Tuesday, November 1st from 7:30 pm to midnight to kick off the 4th edition of the visual art performance biennial Performa 11 (November 1—21). The evening will begin at 7:30 pm with the US Premiere of the Performa Commission Happy Days in the Art World, a darkly comic self-portrait of the artists Elmgreen & Dragset featuring acclaimed actor Joseph Fiennes at the Skirball Center for the Performing Arts, and will continue at 9 pm with a first-ever live retrospective of six major performance works by the artists as well as cocktails and hors d'oeuvres by BITE at Skylight Soho.
