Join us on Friday, 11/11/2011 for The Journey to Awaken, an exhibition of 11 paintings of the Colombian artist Andres Prada, accompanied by a solo violin performance by Audrey Lo.

Andres Prada, born in Bogota, Colombia 1978, is a self-taught artist currently enrolled in The Art Students League of New York. A Manhattan resident since 1999, Prada has transformed into a unique and contemplative force of artistry through his predominantly oil-based paintings displayed on transformative mediums.
In the fall of 2010, Andres was in a near fatal cycling accident. It is Prada’s road to recovery that transcended his heart and mind to produce what has become his incessant pursuit of expression.
Audrey Lo, violinist

A graduate of Mannes College, Audrey Lo is the violinist of the Brandy String Trio. She has served as concertmaster for Ensemble 212 and frequently plays with the Albany Symphony Orchestra. Earlier this year, she participated in a project with the Philharmonic Orchestra of the America and the musicians from Jazz at Lincoln Center.
