Autism Speaks will host the Fifth Annual Celebrity Chef Gala on October 3, 2011 at Cipriani Wall Street. The event is co-chaired by Jennifer & Franklin Becker, Susan & Phil Harris, Alison & Duncan Niederauer and Suzanne and Shawn Rubin and is sponsored by Susan and Steven Wise of KRG Children's Charitable Foundation, SeaMiles and Puzzlebuilder. This exclusive event will be emceed by Chef Guy Fieri and co-hosted by Lee Schrager, Vice President Corporate Communications Southern Wine and Spirits of America and Lesley Stahl, Correspondent, 60 Minutes. The Chef Gala is a truly unique affair where guests will have the pleasure of observing 80 leading chefs as they prepare a luxurious four course meal exclusively for their table of 10 guests (one chef per sponsor table). Some of our participating chefs include: Terrance Brennan (Picholine & Artisanal Premium Cheese Center), Cesare Casella (Salumeria Rosi), Tom Colicchio (Craft Restaurants), Wylie Dufresne (wd~50), Tory Miller (L’Etoile), Masaharu Morimoto (MORIMOTO), Alfred Portale (Gotham Bar and Grill), Charlie Trotter (Charlie Trotter’s) and Jonathan Waxman (barbuto). Following their meal, guests will enjoy entertainment provided by Rex Lewis-Clack, a young musician with Autism, and opera singer, Sam McElroy. The evening also includes thrilling live and silent auctions featuring exclusive packages and luxury items.
