Pink Soiree Masquerade, The Intrepid

Susan G Komen, NYC Affiliate presents a fundraising charity event to support Breast Cancer , coinciding with Breast Cancer Awareness month of Oct. Expected 300 guests, masks provided, guests encouraged to bring their own. A festive evening of Pink and Black color themed masquerade dinner dance . Komen proudly honors Theresa Lana,Stage 3 breast cancer Survivor and Captain of Team Tbird, leading community mom and pop team of over 100 New Yorkers, for the past 3 years . She and her team have raised over $300,000.00 and still counting!! Komen Greater NYC is hosting a Pink Soirée: A Masquerade in honor of an individual -- Theresa Lana-- and organization -- Cancer Treatment Centers of America -- for their support of our vision of a world without breast cancer. The evening will include cocktails, a silent auction, dinner and dancing. Special guests include Paulo Costanzo and Miss USA Alyssa Campanella. Masks will be provided. Or guests can bring a favorite masks of their choice. Komen Greater NYC has been named #1 Komen Affiliate in fundraising by Susan G. Komen for the Cure, outpacing 125 other Komen affiliates worldwide. This year, Komen Greater NYC awarded a record-breaking $4.8 million in grants — $3.3 million supporting 36 community-based organizations (in New York City, on Long Island and Westchester and Rockland Counties) and three hospitals that provide breast health programs to underserved women and $1.5 million underwriting peer-reviewed research projects at the national level.
