On Monday, October 10, the 7th Annual Popular Mechanics Breakthrough Awards will be held at the Hearst Tower in New York City. In addition to recognizing the innovators and products poised to change the world in the fields of technology, medicine, aviation, environmental engineering, and more, Popular Mechanics will also honor renowned director James Cameron with the 2011 Breakthrough Leadership Award for his pioneering contributions to filmmaking, science, and exploration.
