In addition to supporting programs at its existing partnerships, the Negril All Age school, the Negril Basic School, the Negril Library and the Little Bay School, donations from this year's event will help underwrite its 2012 project, which will be announced on the evening of the benefit." Over the past eight years many loyal and generous supporters of the Rockhouse Foundation have en abled us to invest over US$1,000,000 in community projects. The Rockhouse Foundation is a New York chartered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to initiate and support programs, services, and organizations that combat the effects of endemic poverty in Jamaica. The Rockhouse Hotel and its owners underwrite all non program related expenses of the Foundation. Every cent of every donation supports Jamaicans in need. Projects are concrete and have an impact that you can see. In Jamaica, a donation goes a long way. Projects like the one undertaken at the schools would cost multiple times as much in the US. Most importantly, projects immeasurably improve the lives of children who need and deserve the same opportunities as children everywhere.
