Drugfree.org's 25th Anniversary Gala - Promise of Partnership

This year, The Partnership at Drugfree.org is celebrating 25 years at its Anniversary Gala on Tuesday, October 18, 2011. Because 90% of all addictions start in the teenage years, The Partnership’s mission has broadened well beyond prevention-focused public education campaigns. Today, with unique online resources and support networks, locally-based community programs - and a new toll-free telephone Helpline - this organization is the only national organization solely dedicated to helping parents and other caregivers prevent, intervene in and find treatment for drug and alcohol use by their children. This special event will honor Irwin Gotlieb, Global CEO of GroupM and Home Box Office, represented by Sheila Nevins, President of HBO Documentary Films. In addition, we will pay special tribute to The New York Times Company which has generously supported The Partnership since its inception. Accepting the award on their behalf will be its President and CEO, Janet L. Robinson.
