A pop-up exhibition of an upcoming exhibit at the museum of the city
of new york. the exhibition offers a selection of Beaton images and
evening gowns that were created by Chanel, Schiaperelli and other
designers whose work beaton photographed in the 1930's. this
presentation is a tantalizing preview of the upcoming exhibition at
the MCNY on October 25. the show chronicles the full range of Beaton's
artistic accomplishments in twentieth-century Manhattan.
