The Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation’s Champions Committee and Clark’s Botanicals will co-host the Night for a Cure benefit on Wednesday, September 7, 2011 from 7pm to 10pm on the Rooftop of the ultra-chic Mondrian Soho Hotel in recognition of National Spinal Cord Injury Awareness Month. The Foundation’s Champions Committee co-chairs Matthew Reeve, Francesco Clark of Clark’s Botanicals, Elisa Lipsky-Karasz of Harper’s Bazaar, singer/songwriter Jesse Ruben, and Casandra Liggin will be joined by special guests actress Julianne Moore, Stefano Tonchi (Editor-in-Chief of W Magazine) and Moby, who will provide the music for the evening.
Tickets are $200 and include hors d'oeuvres from Executive Chef Sam Talbot of Mondrian Soho and Surf Lodge in Montauk, an open bar provided by Grey Goose and desserts by Crumbs Bake Shop. Over 250 guests are expected to attend including designers Narciso Rodriguez, Thakoon Panichgul, and Peter Som, actress Taraji Henson, model Hilary Rhoda, celebrity stylists Arianne Phillips and Mary Alice Stephenson, and celebrity make-up artists Pati Dubroff and Jeanine Lobell, among others. Gift bags will be provided by Clark’s Botanicals.
The Reeve Foundation Champions Committee was started with the mission of bringing together the next generation of enthusiastic, young philanthropic individuals in the New York Metropolitan area to help further the Foundation’s mission of curing spinal cord injury by funding innovative research, and improving the quality of life for people living with paralysis through grants, information and advocacy.
