Tammany Hall's end of summer bash, with many performances that will grasp the feel of summer till the next. September 3rd, make sure to come early and see awesome live performances and beautiful Moki will play the best early disco music to warm your joints before the show. Doors will open at 8PM and we will go till 3am.
Performing is pop music artist and song writer J Shuler www.callmemrshuler.com J Shuler rules when it comes to being in the forefront of new century pop music. With songs like "Milky Way", "out of Control", "Love Me" and "Stereo Minded" titled after his music production team. J's influence in the digital era brings his music to transition from hip hop to sheer youthful rebelliousness. Opening for Mr Shuler is DAVÍ, an uncanny talent. As a choreographer, he's worked with R&B Singer, Ashanti (Def Jam); Electro-Pop group, Telephoned (Fool’s Gold); and Hip Hop/Electronica group, Cubic Zirconia (Fool’s Gold/Cry Baby) with whom he was featured on Fox's Fearless TV. Now, Daví presents his music of the genre he’s entitled afro.electro.funk; a dynamic form of music which can only be likened to a theoretical genre-demolishing, politically-charged, soulful child of electronic. Also performing is OHBO! NIYRE, so, true to his old soul he began singing and playing trumpet. He is the artist you’ve never seen yet, he somehow stills manages to seem familiar. In other words, if you ever participated in a Soul Train line you’ll be a fan.
DJ Adrian will be spinning downstairs, www.djadrian.com known for the remix the mysterious Jandek (the only artist ever to do so) and produce on Brazilian group Bonde Do Role’s debut LP for Domino/Mad Decent and for playing at infamous Lion's Den and CBGB's.
Stereo Minded Music's Dj's will be performing all night long after the performances so you wont stop shaking whatever your desire to shake.
