Description
The Hetrick-Martin Institute, Home of the Harvey Milk High School, is excited to present its 6th Annual Fall Fest Event at Greig Farm in Red Hook, NY on Saturday, September 17th from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm. Join the Fall Fest host committee Peter Lyons - event chair, Russ Crafton, Deandre DeVane, Travis Marchman, Toby Usnik & Harlan Bratcher, and Yuri Yoshizawa for afternoon drinks and hors d’oeuvres on the sprawling 500 acre Greig Farm to support the nation’s oldest and largest at-risk LGBTQ youth organization. New Yorkers and Hudson Valley residence will have a chance to bid on fabulous auction items while enjoying the scenery of this magnificent farm during the most dramatic season in the Hudson Valley. After the event, Premiere Individual Ticket holders and certain sponsors will enjoy dinner at Laura Pensiero’s Gigi Market (www.gigimarket.com ). The menu will feature seasonal ingredients that highlight the bounty of the farms, gardens, and food artisans of the Hudson Valley. Oprah Winfrey is a huge fan of Chef Laura and featured one of her signature dishes as a ”˜top ten favorite recipes of the decade’ in the anniversary issue O, Oprah Magazine (August 2010). President Bill Clinton also dined at Laura’s restaurant prior to his daughter’s wedding in 2010. This evening is a tremendous opportunity that will ensure the doors of The Hetrick-Martin Institute remain open to the over 2,000 young people who come in search of a better life and a brighter future.
