Mayor Bloomberg and Dr. Farley are hosting special guests Lance Armstrong,
Their Royal Highnesses Princess Ghida Talal and Princess Dina Mired, and members of the global health community, who are in New York for the United Nations High-Level Meeting on Non-communicable Diseases.
LIVESTRONG will premiere the short film, Delivering Hope: Cancer Care in the Developing World, produced by Alpheus Media, that poignantly captures the personal stories of three cancer survivors from different corners of the world — Rwanda, Jordan and Mexico — and reveals that even in areas of varying resources, delivering quality cancer care is possible.
