Rainforest Partnership (RP) is an international non-profit social enterprise that connects with communities in Latin America to develop sustainable forest management and economic alternatives to deforestation. Based in Austin with a new office in San Francisco, RP is now looking to expand to the east coast, and we're looking for your support and ideas.
Come network during Climate Week NYC 2011 (http://www.climateweeknyc2011.org/) with RP Executive Director, Niyanta Spelman, and RP Treasurer of the Board, Toby Tiktinsky, as well as other environmentally minded individuals at the Safe Harbor loft and help ignite the movement for sustainability. Donations for our projects in Ecuador and Peru are always welcome, but admission is free and complimentary beverages and hors d’oeuvres will be served. We will also screen winning short films from RP's annual Films for the Forest Event, as well as a short documentary on Rainforest Partnership.
