In commemoration of 9/11 and the Foundation's 10th anniversary, the Brooke Jackman Foundation, a non-profit organization that promotes literacy for at-risk children in the greater New York area, has invited hundreds of underserved youth from the surrounding area to enjoy an afternoon of educational fun at its second annual Brooke Jackman Foundation Read-a-thon -- a Celebration of Literacy and Hope. Hosted by Arts World Financial Center, this major FREE public event for children and families will celebrate the positive, transformative power of literacy.
