Using cutting-edge image-recognition technology, shoppers will be able to buy and win from NET-A-PORTER after downloading a specially created "The Window Shop" app that will be available for iPhone, iPad 2 and Android platforms. "The Window Shop" uses Aurasma, a radical piece of technology that brings together the physical with the virtual, the app is able to see its surrounding environment without the need for barcodes or tags. "The Window Shop" will be displayed on vinyl graphics in Mercer Street, New York and Mount Street, London from 6pm on the 8th of September, when the windows will be revealed.
