About The LES Hot Club:
The LES Hot Club (Lower East Side Hot Club) is an acoustic quartet based in New York City. The members consist of Joel Beaver - lead guitar, Carolin Pook - Violin, Glenn Tosto - rhythm guitar and Terence Murren - upright bass. The band plays Gypsy Jazz in the style of legendary gypsy guitarist Django Reinhardt and violinist Stephane Grappelli. They play swing standards from the 1930's and 40's as well as contemporary gypsy bossas, ballads, valses and tangos.
