Hammer & Claws (646.822.9469), the all-you-can-eat annual crab feast which occurs the weekend after Labor Day (September 7 - 9), will help keep the feeling of summer going a little bit longer this year. Now in it's second year, Hammer & Claws is presented by Maryland native Joshua Morgan and will take place in the historic Tunnel Space of the Terminal Stores building in Chelsea.
Throughout the three-day festival, approximately 40,000 Maryland blue crabs will be steamed with 1,750 lbs of Old Bay, cracked with 5,000 mallets, and enjoyed by approximately 4,000 patrons. In addition to the all-you-can eat crabs and all-you-can-drink wine and beer, there will be traditional sides such as coleslaw, potatoes, and corn on the cob.
Ticket prices:

A portion of the proceeds from the Hammer & Claws Blue Crab Feast will be donated to the Chesapeake Bay Foundation (www.cbf.org) to help the foundation in their continuing efforts of restoring and protecting the Chesapeake Bay.
