The Hope Fund's "Stories of Hope Courage Triumph" Traveling Photography Exhibit and Charity Event Comes to NYC Four-city national tour sponsored by Major League Baseball Players Alumni Association to raise funds for NYC charities New York City - The Hope Fund, a charitable organization focused on supporting not-for-profit organizations involved in healthcare, education and youth leadership development, will present the NYC installment of The Hope Fund Tour, a series of traveling photography exhibit and charity events Thursday, September 20th, 2012 at the Metropolitan Pavilion. The event is the first in a four city tour with stops in Los Angeles, San Francisco and Miami showcasing, ’Stories of Hope Courage Triumph,’ an 125-image photography exhibit designed to build awareness of the struggles others face by capturing inspirational moments of individuals, families and communities across the globe in an effort to share their stories of hope, courage and triumph.The event will also include a cocktail reception, hors d'oeuvers, local entertainment and silent auction. The Hope Fund’s national charity partner, Major League Baseball Players Alumni Association will also donate various autographed sports memorabilia for auction, and former Major League Baseball players will be in attendance. Proceeds from the event will benefit local charities as well as the Major League Baseball Players Alumni Association’s Legends for Youth Clinics.
