The fashion set stepped out last night for one of the most anticipated events of the spring gala season, New Yorkers for Children Tenth Annual Spring Dinner Dance. Models, socialites and all of our favorite A-listers were in attendance at the annual Fool's Fête, held at the Mandarin Oriental, to support youth in foster care. Not only did everyone, from Olivia Palermo to Lindsey Wixson, show off their philanthropic side, they also showed off some very colorful gowns, just in time for the gorgeous spring weather in NYC yesterday. Last night, Christie's was filled with celebrities, art enthusiasts, and philanthropists who took part in the Inaugural Oceana Ball. Guests including Oceana Ambassador Kate Walsh, Chris Hemsworth and Elsa Pataky, and Adrian Grenier arrived on an event-appropriate blue carpet before heading into the JW Marriott Lounge for custom Grey Goose cocktails. Crowd-goers enjoyed the warmer weather and relieved some stress on Saturday at the 2013 International Pillow Fight Day. The event was hosted by Urban Playground Movement, a group who organizes free, world-wide public events. New York, LA, London and Toronto were just a few cities who got in on the fluffy fighting. When it comes to fashion, The Netherlands is hardly just the land of wooden shoes. Amsterdam-based label Scotch & Soda proved that the fun way last night at the grand opening party of their latest NYC location in Union Square. The ever-impeccable "It Girl" Tennessee Thomas danced behind the DJ deck, where she spun upbeat updates of '60s classics like "Ruby Tuesday" and "Season of the Witch." Guests browsed the colorful racks of the store's new spring collection while sipping Ketel One cocktails and munching on hors d'oeuvres provided by The Fat Radish. More»

On Wednesday, Magnifico Giornata held an invite-only party at Beaumarchais hosted by brand partner and VH1 personality Carrie Keagan. As soon as guests arrived, servers broke out the golden bottles and filled up the first of many glasses with sparkling wine. The 3 new flavors, Ginger Pêche, Grapefruit Blanc, and Lavender Honey were crowd-pleasers, and got everyone in the mood to dance as mega club DJ Jeffrey Tonnesen took to the decks. As if free drinks, hors d'oeuvres and tunes by Tonnesen wasn't enough, Keagan raised the temperature by bringing in burlesque dancers from Nuit Blanche. This weekend Armin van Buuren celebrated his 600th episode of "A State Of Trance" with a sold out show at Madison Square Garden. Last night, Robert B. Chavez, President & CEO of Hermès, and Luc Perramond, CEO of La Montre Hermès, invited guests to celebrate the launch of Hermès’ newest watch, the Dressage Chronograph, with the presentation of an exclusive dance entitled “Time in Motion.” The event began with a dance performance by Sandra Savin and David Drouard at the Baryshnikov Art Center. The two dancers mirrored each other's movements, bringing to life the mechanisms within a watch as well as the iconic Hermes galloping horse. More»
