Glamour's Women of the Year awards is certainly an inspirational night. An eclectic group of women including Lena Dunham, Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, and Annie Leibovitz were honored last night at Carnegie Hall. But who would have expected it to be such a tear jerking ceremony? From 27 year old Erin Merryn's crusade to pass a law encouraging sex abuse education after her own childhood horrors, to Jenna Lyons publicly thanking her new love Courtney Crangi, the Women of the Year awards were full of emotional moments.

The Nor'easter may have brought some snow to the city tonight, but inside the Victoria's Secret Fashion show, things were definitely heating up. Seasoned Angels including Miranda Kerr and Alessandra Ambrosio brought sexy back to the stage at the Lexington Avenue Armory tonight. As always, they strutted down the runway in some va-va-voom, lingerie looks that had everyone inching forward in their seat. The highly anticipated show (with performances by Justin Bieber and Rihanna) won't be broadcasted until December 4th, but let's take a sneak peek at some of the half-naked madness through our Instagram round up.

After what seemed like an endless campaign, Obama supporters around the country were finally able to breath a sigh of relief late Tuesday night as it was announced that President Barack Obama will in fact remain in the White House for four more years. While it was a decidedly rough night for Mitt Romney voters, it was a night of palpable excitement on the winning side of the coin. People around the country took to Instagram and Twitter to show their support for the newly re-elected President. The who's who in fashion stepped out for the 29th annual Night of Stars held at Cipriani Wall Street. The master of ceremonies Simon Doonan welcomed guests including Karl Lagerfeld, Sarah Jessica Parker, Pamela Love, Renee Zellweger, Kelly Ripa, Tory Burch, and Prabal Gurung. The much anticipated Maison Martin Margiela collection launched with H&M last night at 5 Beekman Street. Everyone from Sarah Jessica Parker, Helena Christensen, to Kanye West came out to toast the latest designer collaboration that will land in H&M stores on November 15th. Guests were treated to a view of the collection with a dance performance and art installation across five floors. The shopping space was on the 9th floor but the line started a few floors down. The elevators were only for VIP guests like Kanye, who reportedly had his own private lounge on the top floor. The fashion crowd came out to The Plaza last night to celebrate Bergdorf Goodman's 111th anniversary. Designers, such as Zac Posen, who's collections are carried at the department store and their friends hit the red carpet in true Bergdorf fashion. On Saturday, the Global Poverty Project (GPP) hosted the Global Citizen Festival on the Great Lawn of New York's iconic Central Park. The festival celebrated achievements made towards ending extreme poverty in this generation. There were featured performances by Neil Young with Crazy Horse, Foo Fighters, The Black Keys, Band of Horses and K’naan, and a surprise appearance by John Legend. More»

Over the weekend, Jay-Z officially opened the 19,000-seat Barclays Center with a sold-out show. Part owner of the center as well as of the Brooklyn Nets, the Brooklyn native gave his hometown quite the show on Friday night.
