Fashion Week is - of course - all about the clothes, but when you look a little closer, one of the main elements of styling a great fashion look is the beauty. While we admired some amazing creations under the tents last week, we also took notice to some new beauty trends. From bold lip colors to funky braids, we have all your NYFW beauty trends covered.
From Kendrick at Milk Studios to the #DKNY25 Birthday Bash, New York Fashion Week 2013 is one to be remembered. Though it's hard to believe that Fashion Week is over (until Europe that is), it's already time to start thinking about this year's NYFW highlights. In case the craziness of the past week has all turned into a blur, we've created a roundup to relive all the best NYFW parties this season!
As the fashion frenzy in New York finally winds down and the jet setters head for the runways of London, let's take a look back at some of the most prevelant - and in some cases unexpected - celebs who made the most of the parties, presentations, and performance opportunities of New York Fashion Week. From the haute hip-hop stars who took the stage just about everywhere to the reemerged uber-socialite we hadn't seen much of before this week, here are the surprisingly frequent faces of this season's NYFW.

An Indian summer heatwave swept the city on Wednesday, bringing temperatures up to 100 degrees. But extreme humidity and heat didn't stop fashionistas from dressing to the nines. Between Michael Kors and Nanette Lepore, Lincoln Center was flooded with editors, stylists and bloggers wearing everything from Prada to Zara. Candace Lake looked stunning in head-to-toe white, while Fern Mallis played with textures in her all-black ensemble. The Lucky Magazine girls showed off their unique ability to mix high-low brands with panache. The diverse crowd of both guys and dolls wowed us with their unique and varied styles, proving that although the week may be winding down, the street style powers on. More»

Check out what she had to say about fall transition pieces, must-have accessories, and trendy hairstyles.
Although the sky was overcast, the street style was anything but drab on Tuesday morning. Bill Cunningham had a field day (and we did too!) snapping the fashionable crowd spilling from the David Koch theater into the Tents after the Tory Burch show. Feminine skirts and tailored pants got equal air time among the crowd today, and leopard accessories proved they never go out of style. Oversize and dramatic sunglasses continued to shade nearly every face, making a statement even when the sun refused to shine. More»
