[All photos by MARC DIMOV for PMc]. The girl who won the genetic lottery for beauty and talent, aka Alexa Ray Joel, performed last night at Elie Tahari's Fashion's Night Out party in his SoHo store. Apparently, Rory Tahari heard Alexa sing once and liked her so much she booked her. Alexa wore, of course, Tahari, and played piano (nothing from the Billy Joel songbook...) while shoppers enjoyed croque-monsieurs, sliders, and champagne. More pictures below... More»
No one cheated in the actual matches, as far as we know. After Melanie Oudin lost yesterday, her parents' divorce court documents reveal that her mother had an extramarital affair with the tennis coach. Well that's awkward. Back to the tournament, Yanina Wickmayer defeated Kateryna Bondarenko, Juan Martin Del Potro beat Marin Cilic, and Serena and Venus Williams conquered the doubles team of Kleybanova and Makarova. Rafael Nadal had a match this morning, but play is suspended due to the totally gross weather. More»

[All photos by SHAUN MADER for PMc]. Lily Cole spent her Fashion's Night Out at the Longchamp SoHo Boutique, where there was a live jazz band playing music to match the theme of the new Spring collection, "Gatsby". Once the band finished playing, DJ Lykke Li took over the music selection, while guests shopped and enjoyed canapes. Also in attendance was model Lily Aldridge, because, you know, Lily is totally the Daisy of 2009. More photos from the event below... More»
[All photos by JACKIE SNOW for PMc]. Last night, Fashion's Night Out exploded onto the streets of NYC. One of the evening's must-stop destinations was the Tory Burch store, where the designer greeted shoppers including Russell Simmons, who browsed the racks while bouncing around to the turntable mastery of DJ Cassidy. The place was packed, but that didn't keep anyone from enjoying the guilt free (save the local economy!) shopping, grill snacks such as corn on the cob and beverages. Shopping can work up the appetite, after all. More»

I don't know anyone who wouldn't want to smell like a transsexual icon from New Jersey. Wait, did I say that right? Regardless, Amanda Lepore's new namesake fragrance is hitting retail, with quite an entrance. Costing a staggering $395 a bottle, the "soft elegance, glamour and formidable strength" comes packaged in a Swarovski crystal and satin decorated bottle. More»
