Roman Grandinetti isn't your average DJ. A notable fixture on the club and fashion scene as DJ Manero, Grandinetti wants to take music and sound where it hasn't gone before.
Rather than simply playing music for a crowd, he wants music to be a part of every day life and art. With Sound Graffiti, a concept he invented involving small sound bites made by notable cultural influencers of all kinds (think Yoko Ono, Pharrell Williams, Serge Becker) scattered throughout NYC (like visual graffiti), and his recent showing of CNNCTD+100 at the New Museum, Grandinetti has a few more tricks up his sleeve this summer. Last night, USA Network and MR PORTER.com teamed up to celebrate this Thursday's season two premiere of USA Network's Suits. Despite the dreary weather, dapper men and well-dressed women made their ways up to the High Line for the Suits & Style fashion show and cocktail reception. Greeted by two rows of umbrella-bearing gentlemen, guests were escorted into the reception area, where they were invited to take instantly printed Instagram photos and enjoy DJ Chelsea Leyland's mixes.
We had a chance to catch up with some of the Suits stars to discuss suiting up, their summer plans, and more.

Located inside the Mondrian SoHo Hotel is an ambitious and aesthetic nightlife space called Mister H. The space was envisioned by the Morgans Hotel group, who teamed up with Benjamin Noriega Ortiz to create this Asian-inspired nightlife venue. Mister H opened it's doors in February 2011, and one of the doormen at the time, Mr. Chad Campbell, has moved up the ranks and is now the General Manager. Check out what he had to say about Mister H! Last night, a crowd of distinguished young professionals—among them political commentator Margaret Hoover, author Michael Hastings, Artlog founder Manish Vora, and tech entrepreneur Kipton Cronkite—congregated at R 20th Century Gallery for an evening of art, wine, music, and... water purification tablets. The event? The Spring Photo Benefit of UNICEF's Next Generation, an organization of young advocates chaired by Jenna Bush Hager.

Mirror, mirror, on the wall: who's the chicest of them all? Better ask sartorial expert Iké Udé, the author of Style File and one of Vanity Fair's International Best Dressed Originals.
Udé's latest project, the CHIC INDEX, profiles New York's most stylish denizens through series of twelve-act portraits, which showcase their range of signature looks. Geoffrey Bradfield, Somers Farkas, Robert Verdi, Pat Cleveland, and Patrick McDonald are among the notables chosen thus far, as well as this week's guest, philanthropist Jean Shafiroff.

Vice.com’s new web series, Slutever, is a hybrid of Sex and the City and all things bizarre in the blogosphere. “Slutever” is Karley Sciortino, the writer and face behind the series, and has become a moniker Karley uses for herself -- but the name was initially coined for her blog, Slutever.com, which she has been writing since 2007. The blog’s intention was to be an exploration of human sexuality, but instead, turned into an episodic documentation of BDSM, Karley’s role as a dominatrix, marginal sexual rituals and cult practices, and sex advice provoked by the blog’s explicit content. Since launching the Frieze Art Fair in 2003 in London, Amanda Sharp has seen the fair grow and evolve into one of the world's major art events of the year. This year, for the first time, she and her partner Matthew Slotover are bringing Frieze to New York, where it will open on Randall's Island on May 4th. Displaying art from 180 galleries, Frieze New York is expected to bring contemporary art to New York in a way that's never been done before. Amanda spoke with us about bringing Frieze to New York, how they're adjusting it for New Yorkers, and what we can look forward to this year.
Last night marked the two year anniversary of An Afternoon With; a photo blog that features creative New Yorkers in their homes. Past subjects include Richard Haines, Andi Muise, Shelly Steffee, Jason Carroll, Jace Lipstein, Paige Bluhdorn, and most recently, Refinery29 Senior Editor Kristian Laliberte.
In addition to celebrating their two year anniversary, last night's event, which was at Parlor in Soho, served as a benchmark for changes that will be coming to the site in the upcoming months. I was able to speak with Nhi Nguyen and Michael Mundy, who founded the site, about how they got their start and what we can expect from An Afternoon With in the future. When I first walked up to Super Linda in Tribeca, it looked like a dive diner I would have expected to find on Third Avenue. Much to my surprise, the upstairs proved to be reminiscent of a quaint Caribbean restaurant, and the downstairs, or El Jockey (Super Linda's exclusive lounge), offers two main tables that are compartmentalized in to their own sections, along with a seating area with small tables. The walls are covered in wooden panels and paintings of horses (fitting for its name), and the bar is all lit up in pink lights.
With a charming Australian manager, a welcoming staff, and delicious Latin American fusion food, Super Linda is a little getaway right in Manhattan. Spring in New York's Meatpacking District: Christian Louboutins are flashing their telltale red, tulips are blossoming on the High Line, and just below, a boutique shop called STORY is painted in a spectrum of color, with vibrant merchandise to match each hue. But if a visitor were to pass by a few weeks from now, they'd find a completely different store -- or so they'd think.
Founded last December by marketing consultant Rachel Shechtman, STORY is a very special kind of retail space. Every four to eight weeks, the store is completely renovated -- its walls, decor, and merchandise are changed to reflect a new theme. Currently, that theme is "Color," but before March 28, it was "Love," a nod to the romance of Valentine's Day.
