Nickelodeon star Ariana Grande broke out in a big way this summer with a chart-topping debut album that had everyone from Rolling Stone to New York Magazine dubbing her "the new Mariah Carey." And these comparisons are no coincidence. The pint-sized powerhouse has admitted that Carey was a major inspiration for her growing up, and just last year Grande posted a cover of the legendary diva's '90s hit "Emotions" on her YouTube.
