Eric Trump, entrepreneur and, of course, son of President Trump, and his philanthropist wife, Lara, have announced that they are having their first baby due in September! They are pleased to share that they are expecting a boy to carry on the (in)famous Trump surname. The birth announcement of his ninth grandchild is surely a silver lining in what has been a contentious past couple of months for Donald Trump, whose approval ratings have plummeted upon the formal announcement of an FBI investigation of his "alleged" ties with Russia. Infamous for his candor, especially on social media, Lara chided in the announcement that, “Eric’s dad was so excited that we were worried he’d blurt it out at a press conference.”
Congratulations to the happy couple, and we can't help but hope a new grandchild will soften President Trump's heart a little bit!
