Vanity Fair's Young Hollywood issue is one of the most highly anticipated covers of the year. Which nine lucky actresses get to grace the cover this year?-
Abbie Cornish, 27: You may know her has Ryan Philippe's "Other Woman", but Abbie Cornish has been getting rave reviews for her strong performance in Jane Campion's "Bright Star".
Rebecca Hall, 27: She was the highlight of Woody Allen's "Vicky Cristina Barcelona" (well, right behind the threesome scenes with Penelope Cruz, Scarlett Johansson and Javier Bardem), and hilarious in "Frost/Nixon". She'll next appear in Ben Affleck's "The Town".
Anna Kendrick, 24: Twilight fans know her as Bella Swan's friend Jessica, George Clooney fans know her from her (probably going to be Oscar-nominated) performance in "Up In The Air", and musical theater geeks love her for her hilarious performance as MItzi in "Camp".
Carey Mulligan, 24: She blew critics away with her performance in "An Education", and will next appear opposite real-life boyfriend Shia LeBeouf in "Wall Street 2: Money Never Sleeps".
Amanda Seyfried, 24: She's currently starring in "Dear John", and "Letters To Juliet" is coming up, but Seyfried reached cinematic perfection early on in "Mean Girls".
Kristen Steward, 19: Is "Twilight" enough said? Well, she's also playing Joan Jett opposite Dakota Fanning in "The Runaways", not to mention her envelope-pushing role as a stripper opposite James Gandolfini in "Welcome to the Rileys".
Emma Stone, 21: A Judd Apatow kid who played Jonah Hill's home-ec partner in "Super Bad".
Mia Wasikowska, 20: Plays gymnast Sophie on "In Treatment", and will be playing the title-role in the Tim Burton's "Alice And Wonderland".
Evan Rachel Wood, 24: IS DATING MARILYN MANSON. And also started in Across The Universe, The Wrestler, and Spider-Man The Musical, if it ever actually opens...

What is wrong with this picture! "A new decade a new Hollywood", my ass! How utterly ridiculous that not ONE woman of color is on the cover. No African-Americans, no Latinas, and no Asians! They could've at least had Zoe Saldana. She was not only in "Star Trek" one of the biggest blockbusters of the summer, but in the biggest movie of all time,"Avatar". From the looks of this cover, it may be "a new decade" but Hollywood is seemingly stuck in the '20s! [thatgirlattheparty.com]

Do you think the issue is Vanity Fair excluding minority actresses, or the fact that Hollywood itself doesn't create enough roles (or simply give enough roles TO) actresses who aren't white? Or a little of both? But yes, Zoe Saldana does seem like surprising omission.
