What do you do when you're a SoCal-dwelling celebrity dreaming of a white Christmas? Head to Aspen--at least that's what Kate Hudson, Heidi Klum, Elle MacPhereson, Mariah Carey, and Jack Nicholson did.With its picturesque downtown district snuggled against the snowy mountains, Aspen is the perfect Christmas village, where celebrities can commune with nature without having to give up the creature comforts of home--and by creature comforts, I mean Prada, Burberry, Louis Vuitton, and Dior stores. Yesterday, Galena Street downtown was quite the thoroughfare of famous faces, all doing some last minute shopping before Christmas.
