-Paul was born on September 12, 1973 and grew up in the San Fernando Valley area of Los Angeles, California. -Born Paul William Walker IV, his mother was a fashion model and his father a sewer contractor, though his grandfather was famed professional boxer "Irish Billy Walker." -Growing up, he excelled at sports including surfing, which fit the carefree personality that eventually garnered him the nickname "Vagrant" from friends. -After graduating high school, Paul attended a number of community colleges, majoring in marine biology, but, with his acting chops established at an early age, he decided to take that route. -Throughout his career, Paul primarily resided in Santa Barbara, where his 15 year old daughter Meadow, from a one-time girlfriend, came to live with him in 2011.
